TUITION PAYMENTS:
The year is divided into 3 sessions (Fall, Spring, Summer).
Tuition payments are due on the 1st of the month.
A $15 late fee will be added to payments collected after the 5th of the month.
Auto-Payment is required.
Students may lose their spot in a class if their account is 60+ days delinquent.
Drop Forms must be submitted 30 days in advance.
Drop Forms are available at the front desk or emailed by request.
There are no refunds or credits.
MAKE UP CLASSES:
Make up classes must be scheduled in advance.
Make up classes are subject to instructor approval.
Missed classes must be made up within 30 days.
Advanced notice of the absence is required to make up a class.
Make ups will be forfeited if monthly tuition is not paid in full and on time.
Make up classes must be used by the student who was originally absent.
There are no make ups for missed Dance Fitness, Camps, Workshops, Intensives or Performance classes.
There are no make ups for classes missed due to scheduled closures.
DROP IN PAYMENTS
Credit cards and cash are the accepted methods of payment.
No enrollment fee required.
PRIVATE SESSION CANCELATIONS
Advance payment is required.
48 hour notice is required to reschedule a session.
A session may be rescheduled a maximum of one time.
Sessions are not transferable.
PERFORMANCE PARTICIPATION
Students are automatically enrolled in Winter & Spring performances.
"Performance Opt-Out" Forms must be submitted prior to the first day of a session.
Performance Participation Fees are non-refundable.
Performance Participation Fees will be due October 1st and February 1st.
A 10% late fee will be added for each month a payment is late.
All balances must be paid for a student to be eligible to perform.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK:
Students/Parents/Guardians declare the student to be physically sound and suffering from no condition, impairment, disease, infirmity, or other illness that would prevent student's participation or use of equipment except as hereinafter stated. Students/Parents/Guardians acknowledge the need for a physician's approval for participation in an exercise/fitness activity.
Students/Parents/Guardians also acknowledge that it has been recommended that students have a yearly or more frequent physical examination and consultation with a physician as to physical activity, exercise, and use of exercise and training equipment so that student might have a physician’s recommendations concerning these fitness activities and equipment use. Students/Parents/Guardians acknowledges either that the student has had a physical examination and has been given a physician's permission to participate, or that the student has decided to participate in activity and use of equipment without the approval of a physician.
HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT:
Students/Parents/Guardians agree to defend, indemnify and hold GOT RHYTHM DANCE & PERFORMING ARTS CENTER, its directors, officers, agents, employees and individual members, free and harmless from and against any and all liability, claims, demands, causes of action at law or equity, expenses and costs (including attorney’s fees) or loss of any sort for personal injury (including death) and property damage that may arise during, or be caused in any way by such use, operation, occupancy, acts, omissions and/or condition of premise under this agreement.
PUBLICITY:
GOT RHYTHM DANCE & PERFORMING ARTS CENTER maintains full and exclusive rights to record classes or performances on film, videotape or still photography for use without compensation and such film, videotape or still photography to be used for marketing materials including but not limited to website, printed advertisements, and social media use.
CODE OF ETHICS:
Students/Parents/Guardians agree to show the highest level of respect for Got Rhythm, its instructors and students at all times, in and out of the studio, as well as on all social media platforms. Students/Parents/Guardians agree to promote teamwork, sportsmanship and a positive attitude. Students/Parents/Guardians understand Got Rhythm has a Zero Tolerance Bullying Policy, and that the initiation or participation in any activity that may even be considered or interpreted as bullying of ay kind to any degree is immediate grounds for dismissal from all classes and/or companies, and all unused tuition will be forfeited.
CLASSROOM & STUDIO POLICIES
Observers may not enter the classrooms.
Cell phones must be left outside the classrooms.
If a student is more than 10 minutes late, permission is required to participate in the remainder of the class.
Got Rhythm reserves the right to use a substitute teacher.
Students must wear proper dance attire and shoes in all classes.
Hair must be secured off the face and neck.
There is no gum allowed in the studio. EVER!!
Got Rhythm is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Children under age 10 may not be left unattended outside the classroom.
Students will be dismissed to the lobby after class and should be promptly picked up.
